Arriving at the Studio
Arriving at the studio
It can be disorienting to enter a yoga studio for the first time. The following is a step-by-step explanation of how to arrive at the studio and what happens before a class begins. We hope this makes your experience at little bit sweeter. Please let us know!
When you arrive at the Yoga Garden, the gate will be open 15 minutes before any class begins. Enter the gate and walk down the garden path to your right. There will be arrows guiding your way. You can store your bike all the way down the end of the path on lockable wall hooks. Remember to bring a lock!
The door to the studio is to the left of the path. Enter the studio and take off your shoes. You can store the shoes in the benches provided. Introduce yourself to the instructor or the Yoga Advisor at the desk. They will help sign you into class and will show you where you can change and store your clothes, and where the bathrooms are located.
You can bring your own yoga mat, but we also provide them for free. We also provide a place for students to store their own mats. If the studio is empty, you can grab a mat and some blankets and sit and wait for class. We encourage you to introduce yourself to other students in the room and learn something about their practice. The Yoga Garden is a community yoga school and we encourage everyone to keep it friendly, open and fun for everyone. If you have other questions, check out our website http://www.yogagardensf.com. We look forward to greeting you!
