Teaching via Skype!

Two weeks ago I woke up with the flu; my daughter already had the flu and we were down for the count. Unable to find a substitute at the  last minute, I didn’t want to cancel my postnatal yoga class, knowing the huge amount of energy it takes for mamas to get themselves and their babies out of the house in the morning.  So, what could I do?

FREE Kids Yoga Class

Yoga Garden would like to start a regularly scheduled kids yoga class. To see if there is enough interest we are having a FREE Kids Yoga Class on Thursday Oct. 27 at 3pm with Teacher Vanessa Kahlon. Ideal age range is 4-8 yrs old.

FREE Kid’s Yoga Ages 4-8

By instilling a love of exercise at an early age, we intend to create a lifelong habit of caring for one’s physical and mental well-being. This class is taught with regard for different ways of learning. Auditory, visual and kinetic cues are given throughout each class making it accessible to many children. This class is taught by a senior teacher and observed by our teacher trainees.

Pregnancy Support Group

group of pregnant womenJoin with other mothers in this on going birth preparation class to discuss common pregnancy topics and concerns. Each class will include a short meditation, circle time where all participants can speak, and a weekly topic. Topics may be presented through film, art projects, birth stories or other media. Classes will be lead by Angelika Nugent, Marisa Toriggino and guest educators.

Next session is this Saturday.
