Yoga for Your Cycle

A healthy menstrual cycle is the result of following appropriate practices for your body throughout the month—not just during your period but every day. If you’ve ever felt bloated, cramped, frazzled or out of balance on your cycle, join Marisa and learn some simple yogic techniques to improve your experience.
This workshop will help you cultivate a well-rounded yoga practice designed to bring your body – and your menstrual cycle – to its natural state of heath. You will learn which postures to practice and for how long in order to balance hormones, relax the abdominal area, release cramping and stress and simply feel better during your menses.
This 2 hour workshop will include 30 minutes of discussion and an hour and a half of practice.
This course provides 2 Elective Contact Hours for YGSF’s 300 Hour Program [2 Yoga Alliance CEUs].

Tuition is $45, or $35 if you enroll on or before 3/1.
