Angelika Nugent
Angelika Nugent has been a midwife for nearly 25 years. She graduated from one of Germany's prestigious midwifery schools, the Berlin/Neukoelln, where students receive a three-year training in both the scientific and humanistic aspects of midwifery.
Angelika is the mother of five children and three grandchildren, so in addition to her formal training in prenatal, labor and post-partum care, she has had extensive personal experience birthing and raising babies.
She has been an active member of the Waldorf education community for half of her life. During this time she studied with Dorit Winter in the Waldorf teacher training program. She has been a practicing Buddhist for the past ten years.
Angelika maintains a midwifery practice and teaches in San Francisco, California.
