Foundational Yoga: Asana & the 8 Limbs with Robin Duryea

Sunday, August 26th 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

We put on our yoga clothes, come to class, move our bodies and sweat it out. But what about when we leave the mat? How do we continue to incorporate the teachings into our everyday lives? Knowing and understanding the eight limbs provides the structural framework for a strong, powerful and graceful life, on and off the mat. This two hour workshop will include an hour discussion on what the 8 limbs are and where they come from (Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyhara, Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi). Discussion will be followed by a gentle one hour vinyasa class centered around these teachings.
Bring a notebook and pen, as well as anything needed to practice.
