New Class Time – Dharma Yoga Vinyasa MWF 6:30 AM

with Misha Kiyomura

We’re now offering a 6:30 – 7:45 AM class on Monday, Wednesday and Friday!!   Join us at Yoga Garden for this Dharma Yoga Vinyasa class (formerly offered at 7:00 AM).  A perfect way to start your day and still get to work on time.

“Dharma Yoga” is classical, 8-limbed yoga as taught in the tradition of Sri Dharma Mittra, world-renowned yoga master and creator of the 908 Yoga Poses poster.  Dharma Yoga consists of a 4-level progressive posture series, plus a Gentle class.  In each level is the Shiva Namaskara Vinyasa, an intuitive, challenging flow sequence designed by Sri Dharma himself to stretch, strengthen and purify the body completely.  Students are guided toward a meditative state within the postures, then through deep relaxation, breathing exercises and meditation.  Yoga philosophy and guidance toward living a yogic lifestyle are integrated into each class.  Dharma Mittra is a yoga master who has walked the complete path of yoga, and his Dharma Yoga classes are offerings to students to help find their own paths.
