Paperless Registration: Going Green at the Garden!
“Going paperless” is a popular trend for today’s workplaces and Yoga Garden is on board! Most of our system management is already done completely on-line, and this week we went a step further by replacing the paper registration forms at the front desk with an iPad.
There are many reasons for going paperless. Not only do we want to be ecologically responsible but also we want to increase our efficiency. Although the challenges of transition aren’t always easy, the long-term benefits make the investment worthwhile.
A paperless office reduces the amount of greenhouse gas emissions generated by the waste that annually goes into landfills. According to studies conducted by The Daily Green (an environmental website), a 10 percent reduction in paper usage in American businesses would reduce emissions by 1.6 million tons per year!!
