PRENATAL Yoga Teacher Training – March training is now closed!

prenatal-partner-sliderNEW.jpgExpand your knowledge and deepen your understanding of the utility of yoga in the context of pregnancy and birth.

Our internationally-renowned program offers yoga teachers, birth professionals, and advanced students (with teacher permission) the chance to study and practice under leading teachers, including our very own Marisa Toriggino.

Asana, anatomy, philosophy, social considerations, and practical application are included in the comprehensive training. Students learn to incorporate yoga as an aspect of holistic care for pregnant women, and help build a future of consciously-nutured future yogis.

The 85 hour Yoga Alliance®-registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training allows yoga teachers who complete the training to register with Yoga Alliance® as Registered Prenatal Yoga Teachers (RPYT). Yoga teachers can earn 85 Yoga Alliance® CEUs, and the 85 hours count toward Yoga Garden SF’s Advanced Yoga Teacher Training as teachers work toward their 500 hour certification.

Recent success story:

Kristina Leng has been building a successful private practice teaching Prenatal Yoga since graduating Yoga Garden SF Teacher Training earlier this year. But after a recent interview for what she believed to be a full time yoga instructor position, Kristina was hired as Yoga Program Coordinator for the McFetridge Sports Center in Chicago. She is now responsible for building the studio, creating the class schedule, and managing the entire Yoga Program.

Another perspective:

“I expected to learn how to create yoga classes for pregnant women, and I learned that and so much more! The lessons about the female anatomy, the effects of different types of birthing experiences, and the community created were beyond my expectations and part of what make this program stellar!” – Jessica Ruby Hernandez, Prenatal Teacher Training graduate.
