Policy & Terms of Service

Session Times:

Each photography session is crafted specifically to work with what you have in mind. Sessions range in time from 90-minute sessions to 2-hour sessions. I prefer to shoot on location. Whether that be in the comfort of your home, or a location I have in mind. Session time is defined as my arrival at the location, until the allotted time that was promised.

Payment:

Payment for your portrait session will be billed upon booking your portrait session.

Booking and Cancellation Policies:

I book sessions up to 4 months in advance and need a minimum of 5 days to arrange your session. I am available Fridays from 3:30pm – 6:30pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9am – 630pm.

When booking your appointment I ask that you be very thoughtful about the day and time of your appointment so that a cancellation is not necessary. Of course things come up, life happens, and I will do my best to work with you around this.

If you need to reschedule you will need to do so with more than 24 hours advance notice. If you do not give a 24-hour advance notice a $50 dollar rescheduling fee will be applied to your total. If you cancel your appointment all together with no new appointment scheduled, you need to do so with at least 10 days notice. If you do not give 10 days notice you will be charged 1/2 of the price of your original quote.

Travel Fees and Times:

If travel is located outside the city of San Francisco there will be a travel fee which will include gas mileage at $0.50 cents per mile, and bridge fee’s. If the destination involves over 1 hour of driving time, a separate travel fee will be discussed.

Time Estimates for receiving Images:

After our session you will receive a disk of all of the images, along with Retouched Hi-Res files that were included in your package. The time estimate for this is approximately 14- 21 days from the date of your shoot. If you wish to purchase more images from your session you may contact me through email, and I will then give you an estimated time for those images to be in your mailbox.

Weather Conditions: Collaborating with Mother Nature

I shoot with natural light to achieve the look I want for the images. If there is unexpected rain or the cloud cover is heavy for shooting, I will ask to re schedule so that the best picture quality for you can be achieved at another time.  I will do my best to give you the most notice I can in terms of knowing the weather. But as we all know, sometimes Mother Nature can’t always be so predictable!
