Tips for a Great Experience:

  • Come prepared and distraction-free. Eager minds greatly benefit from our program. Arrive early for classes, bring pens/pencils to take notes, don’t bring food or cell phones that will distract you from the day’s lesson. Let’s create a great classroom environment together, where you and your peers come to learn.
  • Plan to be present. Making up classes can present scheduling challenges and additional costs are incurred. Also, we build off lessons learned each day – so if you miss a class, the next day’s experience is not as rich.
  • If you are traveling to San Francisco, plan to arrive a few days early to explore and prevent jet lag. We want you to experience all this wonderful city has to offer – but be rested and ready to learn in our immersive curriculum. Don’t spread yourself too thin and miss out on all the training offers because you’re tired!
  • Ask questions during the training….AND after! We love to hear feedback and questions throughout the program. It lets us know you’re thinking critically about the material we cover. Once you complete the training, we’re always here for you on our Alumni Facebook page, so you can ask questions after the program ends. We also encourage you to share your insights with us as you take this training back with you – how will you make a difference in the world?
