Thai Yoga with Iris Lambert

This 3 hour workshop is an introduction to Thai Yoga Therapy, a sacred and ancient healing art. Thai Yoga works the full range of motion of the joints and is excellent for less flexible people and beginners to yoga!  Thai Yoga gets  Prana (energy) moving with a combination of assisted yoga poses and rhythmic bodywork. Both giving and receiving Thai Yoga opens the flow of “Prana Vayus”, large energy flows in the body which support balance and health.
We begin Thai Yoga with “Rasidaton”, a gentle yogic warm-up. We then partner up and practice hands-on partner yoga stretches that explore range of motion and relaxation of the joints which stimulates the flow of energy currents within our bodies.

Come alone or bring a friend! This workshop is great for couples, friends and students curious about Thai yoga. Thai Yoga is also excellent for yoga teachers who love sharing hands-on adjustments!

Iris is a Thailand certified massage therapist & Yoga Teacher who has been teaching yoga since 1972. In her own practice, she loves Vinyasa and Anusara Inspired yoga.

Cost: $45, early bird discount $40 (so please sign up early!)
