Where’s Iyengar?

With the frequency of  the Olympics and presidential elections, U.S. Iyengar instructors gather to share community and learn from their most senior teachers at their national convention.  This year, they meet in Portland, OR, from May 11-16.  As a result, many of the Iyengar teachers in San Francisco will not be teaching their classes during this time.

Check to the  Iyengar class schedule to see that there is no disruption to your regularly-scheduled class.

Keep your practice consistent and study with the teacher who is substituting.  They have sacrificed to be their for your teacher and you. some substitute teachers may not be Iyengar yoga teachers.

Related, topic.  We are happy to announce two new Iyengar instructors to Yoga Garden faculty: Ana Mari Hamada on Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 pm, and Monique Montibon on Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 7:00 am.  Read about them here.
