Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher, Trainer and Mentor

Alexandra has been focusing her work around sharing yoga and mindfulness with children, youth, families, teachers and educators for more than a decade. Her mission has been to bring a peaceful alternative to life’s overwhelming pace and to help other enjoy the present moment in an embodied way .

Over the years Alexandra has become a Trainer for yoga teachers, educators, Doula and midwifes with whom she shares her skills in sharing yoga and mindfulness with kids, teens and women at all stage of their life.

Alexandra had a tumultuous childhood and teen years that lead to decade of working in healing trauma from her emotional body . Her personal practices and studies lead her to be well aware of the side effects of trauma in childhood impacting ability to learn , to connect with others, to lead a healthy adult life .

When she studied has a Doula in order to better support her prenatal yoga students she realized that trauma also affected women ability to birth and nurture their babies. Alexandra made the conscious decision to inform and educate herself on PTSD and complex trauma in order to offer mindfulness and yoga classes that support her students with trauma.

Her expertise is based on conscious communication and mindful action in the yoga and meditation class. She brings in practice like chair yoga and nidra to accommodate her clients need of embodied awareness. She is thrilled to be able to share her knowledge at yoga garden in the trauma teacher training .
