Looking to challenge the application of your yoga practice off the mat and outside the studio? Expand your daily yoga practice to two-wheels and take the plunge to bike commuting! It’s a great way to incorporate activity into your workday while supporting environmentally conscious transportation and even an avenue to foster a moving meditation. Biking through the city also requires key elements developed through yoga practice including core strength and stability, concentration and focus, and body awareness.
Join us as we support San Francisco’s biking community and SF Bicycle Coalition on Bike to Work Day, May 11, 2017! We’ll be handing out reflective stickers, free yoga class passes and a chance to win a free teacher training! We’re looking for volunteers to help out at the Yoga garden SF station at the corner of Page and Divisadero to support morning bike commuters from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.
