300 Hour Core Philosophy: Spring 2021

April 3 - June 6

with Karen Macklin and Michelle Bouvier

In this 50-hour training, you journey through four major Eastern philosophies that relate to your yoga practice: the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali, the Buddhist Eightfold Path, the Bhagavad Gita, and the lineage of Tantra.

Each of these philosophies are placed in historical context, as well as connected to modern day yoga practice. We explore, in particular, the theme of interdependence, and how our practice is meant not only to benefit ourselves and our individual spiritual journeys, but to benefit all beings.

The course includes reading, discussion, meditation & asana practice, and practice teaching. The entire course is online. Expect a varied day with large group and small group orientations, solo work, and generous breaks.
