Ayurvedic Training 4-Day Intensive
April 6 - April 9
with Sachi Doctor
Take part in an integrated Ayurvedic curriculum designed to enhance your yogic studies, whether you are just beginning to dive deeper or you are a long-time student. This four-day intensive with Sachi will cover the core concepts of Ayurveda, specifically its applications for asana, pranayama, mantra, and the subtle body.
The course will provide you with a solid foundation from which to apply Ayurveda to all aspects of life. Though not limited to yoga teacher-trainees and active teachers, this course will emphasize how to bring these ancient teachings to students, including customizing yoga classes to be dosha-balancing and teaching seasonal flows as well as classes that are designed by time of day.
The sister science of yoga, Ayurveda literally means science of life (Ayur = life, Veda = science or knowledge). It is an approach to living in harmony with the universe — with nature’s cyclical rhythms — in order to achieve optimum mind-body health. Understanding its main tenants, then, heightens our connection to self while giving us the confidence to bring this 5,000 year old technology to friends, family, and students alike.
