Burning Bowl: Vinyasa + Vision Setting
January 1, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
with Liz Andolong
In many histories, cultures, and traditions, the number 108 has been long considered a sacred number, especially within the Hindu and yoga communities. There are 108 prayer beads strung in a mala, 108 pressure points in the body, the distance from the Earth to the Sun is approximately 108 times the diameter of the Sun, Buddhist temples in Japan chime bells 108 times to signify the ending of the old year and ringing in the new.
With the advent of 2020 coming to a close and the beginning of 2021 around the corner, we are reminded to pause, take stock, and – as the cycle of the season, release all that no longer serves us. In releasing, we create space to welcome in opportunities to begin with a fresh slate. What better way to close the ending of the year while bringing in the auspicious, new year of 2021 with ritual, community, and powerful manifestation?
In this workshop, we will be combining the benefits of a restorative vinyasa flow to clear the energetic systems and re-align ourselves with our higher, intuitive selves to tap into the power of meditation, manifestation, and visualization to create a life we love in 2021.
This course provides 3 Elective Contact Hours for YGSF’s 300 Hour Program [3 Yoga Alliance CEUs].
