Self-Care For the Holidays

For many, the holidays are filled with family time, meaningful spiritual rituals, travel adventures, and end-of-the-year projects — as well as the related stress, overeating, jam-packed scheduling and persistent coughs & colds. Though there’s no miracle cure for holiday chaos, learning specific self-care practices can provide energy, nourishment, and equanimity needed to stay well this time of year.
In this workshop students will create a personalized holiday “tool-kit” and gain a better understanding of:
The relationship between digestion, stress, and immunity
Ayurvedic self-care practices to manage stress and invite balance
Immunity-enhancing foods, spices, herbs and home remedies to prevent common seasonal ailments such as cough, colds, sore throat, and congestion.
