Wall Ropes Teacher Training
November 21, 2020 - November 22, 2020
with Max Kopeikin
This alignment-based wall ropes practice will be athletic and dynamic. We will use the ropes and other props to help us access intermediate poses, difficult actions and precise alignment. The ropes provide safer ways to explore the edges of your practice.
This portion is a teacher training for yoga teachers looking to add yoga poses using the wall ropes, or yoga kurunta, to their teaching repertoire. Alignment and sequencing of beginner poses will be covered. Through practice we will refine the embodiment of the poses. Students will get the chance to teach each other and receive feedback on teaching wall ropes poses. Students will leave with the ability to incorporate wall ropes into their classes or to teach entire wall ropes classes for beginners.
