WHAT IS YOGA SCULPT?
Yoga Sculpt is a unique combination of Vinyasa Yoga and strength training. It is a challenging class designed for any student looking to strengthen their current yoga practice and fitness abilities by building endurance and body awareness through the use of free weights, isometrics, cardio, functional movement, and core focus.
YOGA SCULPT TEACHER TRAINING CURRICULUM
During this 25-Hour intensive, develop a deeper understanding of challenging the physical body while encouraging the mind. Through practice teaching, muscle anatomy review, training to inspire students with cues, learning counting to the beat and how to choose music and rhythm, hands-on assisting, weight lifting form and technique and learning the benefits of yoga & strength training, you leave with the confidence to customize a well-rounded and fun Yoga Sculpt class to your students. You will receive a certificate of completion for Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training at the end of the program!
TEACHING SKILLS:
• Sequencing & theming
• Assisting
• Effectively working the space
• Encouraging students with cueing tools
• Teaching to a multi-leveled class
• Effective breathwork
This course provides 25 Elective Contact Hours for YGSF’s 300 Hour Program [25 Yoga Alliance®CEUs]. Must have completed a 200-Hour Yoga Training at a Yoga Alliance registered training school to attend this training.
Tuition is $500, or $400 if you enroll by 5/4.
