Flow For Street Soccer USA

Join Yoga Garden SF this Thanksgiving as we partner with and fundraise for Street Soccer USA! We are asking for a minimum donation of $25 and gently encourage more.

SSUSA is a non-profit that organizes city-wide street leagues focused on social impact. They fight poverty and empower underserved communities through soccer, and provide an alternative to the pay-to-play model of sports. SSUSA makes high quality soccer programing accessible to communities who may not otherwise have access to the sport, all while cultivating character skills such as teamwork, resilience, self-confidence, and respect.

They focus their efforts on the 33% of youth who are living below the poverty line and have graduation rates between 55-65%, as well as to homeless adults and those in recovery. They have a strong presence in the Bay Area, have programs in 14 cities nationwide, and have positively affected the lives of 15,000 youth and adults. Along with regular community programing, SSUSA partners with the Homeless World Cup and the Street Child World Cup, and sends participants to learn more, grow, and connect through the experience of international travel.

Support your local non-profit this Thanksgiving and Flow for More!

Can’t make it? You can still donate here, join an “I Play For” Adult Soccer Rec. League, or volunteer for SSUSA.

*Memberships will not be valid on this day.
