Jenn’s yoga journey began over 15 years ago, when she took a weekly class in college as an antidote to her regular track workouts as a competitive runner. She loved how yoga allowed her to be in tune with her physical body in a different way than running did, while also encouraging her to practice compassion and restraint rather than always pushing the body to go harder.
She has studied Sivananda, Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Prenatal yoga in various forms, and likes to teach a strong and mindful vinyasa flow class. Her classes are structured for careful alignment, while encouraging students to use breath awareness as they guide the body through a moving meditation.
As a long-time runner and sports enthusiast, Jenn loves working with athletes on ways their yoga practice can complement their sports, both physically and mentally.
