Martine earned her RYT-200 designation through training with the Yoga Institute Mumbai in 2010 and has made several trips to India over the recent years to learn more about the yoga lifestyle. In 2014, she completed vinyasa yoga teacher training with David Lurey and Mirjam Wagner in Brazil as well as a Yoga Anatomy and Breathing course lead by guru Leslie Kaminoff. In 2015 she became a certified BoxingYoga Coach under the guidance of Kajza Ekberg and Matt Garcia. She was the first Boxing Yoga Coach in the US and led several Boxing Yoga Teacher Trainings at Yoga Garden SF. In 2016 Martine earned her RYT-500 under the guidance of Jason Crandell, focusing on anatomy and sequencing. To deepen her practice, Martine currently studies yoga philosophy under the guidance of Kate Holcombe.
Martine’s classes are known for being challenging, sweaty and soothing. Her motto is: Reset, Focus and Energize. While Martine has explored various yoga styles, she enjoys teaching a powerful class that creates energy in the body via the breath, power to the core by combining strength and flexibility and stillness in the mind through asana.
