This video is a sample of Geeta Iyengar (BKS’s daughter) conducting a medical yoga class in Pune at the Ramamani Iyengar Yoga Institute. It’s a great way to see the entirely different approach that Iyengar yoga brings to the practice for medically therapeutic purposes, and to see the style of instruction and general feel of the institute where many of YGSF’s teachers study. The approach is fascinating to many of us who teach Iyengar yoga, especially as we see others transformed through these practices or experience personal transformation through medically therapeutic practice.
