Sara Isaac, RYT 500, started practicing yoga after trying a myriad of treatments to mitigate her anxiety. She tried and found yoga to be the most effective way to make her more grounded and present. She graduated from the University of Michigan in 2016 and worked in People Operations in the tech industry for a short time before rediscovering, practicing and studying yoga (almost 1000 hours of training at Yoga Garden alone!), and hasn’t looked back.
When Sara teaches yoga, she focuses on alignment, energetics and biomechanics. Her emphasis on alignment––awareness in action––helps people of all ages and abilities practice yoga safely, effectively and skillfully. Sara uses clear instruction and custom modifications to help people become more flexible, stronger and more resilient. Sara teaches and challenges people to incorporate concentration, compassion and mindfulness into their lives, both on and off the yoga mat.
