As part of our merger with Moxie Yoga, we are excited to welcome Kylie Goldfarb to the team!


Tell us about yourself! What are some things that your students might not know?

I love cooking, dogs and did my 500 hour at Yoga Garden!

How did you become interested in yoga?

I did an intro membership at a yoga studio one summer in college and became fully addicted!

Tell us about your yoga journey. What style did you start in and with whom do you study now?

I started at a studio that did mainly hot yoga and sculpt classes, I started with a balance of yin and hot vinyasa but have noticed that my preference change with the season.. Hot yoga is less of a calling recently but the cornerstones of my physical practice when I started still hold true. I still love restorative practices and fast paced upbeat vinyasa flows when I’m looking to practice.

Describe your teaching style. What can folks expect when they attend your class? 

For my power flow classes, you can expect a fast paced and purposeful flow that aims to be inclusive, mindful and fun. Reminders to tune in are tempered with dad jokes. Every class ends with you hugging yourself and thanking your body for showing. I think it’s important to create an environment where every person in the room feels accomplished and knows they’ve contributed to the positivity and general vibe of the class. As someone who’s a bit “type a” and can get bogged down in certain aspects of my physical practice, I appreciate being in environments (both as a student and teacher) where everyone can be themselves and the little things don’t matter.

My restorative/ mellow classes are focused on making you feel seen, thankful and restored. Maybe a joke or two but mainly focused on creating gratitude for yourself and nourishing your body and mind.
