Humans are social creatures – so it only makes sense that for our organizations and businesses to thrive in meaningful ways, they need to take cues from the communities they exist to serve. When we first discussed the Yoga Garden SF/Moxie rebrand, we knew that our position at the intersection of business and community needed to be honored throughout the process.
And when we asked for your help in figuring out how we should grow and change, you delivered! We’re grateful for the honest and encouraging responses we received from over 500 of our friends, neighbors, and students. Here are some of the results:
Moving Beyond The Mat
75% of those surveyed are interested in non-yoga related programming. As people who live to move our bodies in new ways, we loved seeing your suggestions. Therefore, we’re diversifying our offerings to bring you the movement your body is craving. We’re thrilled to add classes in sculpt, barre, mat pilates, and HIT to our schedule!

Cultural Shift
We saw this survey as the perfect opportunity to find out how we could better serve all members of our community. Your thoughtful responses will go far in creating a more equitable, inclusive space for both students and teachers at Yoga Garden SF/Moxie. We’re proud to have dedicated resources to support these initiatives, including a budget for a Cultural Competency Manager who guides our team as we create environments that make you feel seen and cared for.
We’ll update you as we work to incorporate your requests into our studios; in the meantime, we encourage you to learn more about our BIPOC Yoga Teacher Training Scholarship opportunities (and share with your friends!).
Our Glow Up
Now that we’ve got the most vital aspects of our transformation underway, we’re giving our brand a visual refresh. Over the next few months, Yoga Garden SF/Moxie rebrand efforts will focus on the way we want to be seen in the world! And once again, we’re asking for your help.
