During this 25-hour intensive Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training, you will learn to combine vinyasa yoga & strength training. Yoga Sculpt is a challenging class designed for any student looking to strengthen their current yoga practice and fitness abilities by building endurance and body awareness through the use of free weights, isometrics, cardio, functional movement, and core focus. You will leave with the confidence to customize a well-rounded and fun Yoga Sculpt class to your students. You will receive a certificate of completion for Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training at the end of the program!

Lisa Chang Wilson

Lisa began teaching Yoga Sculpt in 2014 after being certified from Corepower Yoga. She was excited to be able to incorporate strength training along with yoga asanas and high energy music. Lisa participated in school sports teams until college when she discovered yoga which helped with her anxiety. After more than 10 years of practicing yoga, Lisa believes that movement is medicine and that meditation is the key to a balanced life. Her yoga sculpt classes are designed for students to enhance their asana practice by teaching anatomy & alignment, while still connecting to the mindfulness aspect of the yoga practice.

Lisa began leading the Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training in 2017 at Yoga Garden SF. Her teacher training creates a space for teachers to be challenged, from finding their motivational voice to learning music to building themes. Yoga sculpt is a unique format which can be geared toward any type of student. Strength training has been shown to not only strengthen muscle mass but to create more control of balance, reduce low back pain, and increase bone density.
